The third entry in a four-volume series from the Library of American Comics, presenting the full run of the delightful Silly Symphony Sunday comic pages, reproduced in full color. This volume covers the years 1939-42. The cinematic Silly Symphonies came to an end in 1939, but the comic strip continued at full strength with a retelling of Pinocchio, a star turn for Pluto, and cartoon adaptations including a version of Little Hiawatha that ran for nearly two years. Includes an introduction by JBK and David Gerstein.
